Last Friday we went to La Sagrada Familia, a must-see while in Barcelona. Under construction for over 130 years, the massive structure protrudes from the Earth and looms over everything around it. With beautiful sculptures all over the building sides, it is hard to really appreciate all of the intricate detail that has gone into its construction. Once you see it, it is no suprise that over 3 million visit the cathedral each year. With such a rich and interesting history, the cathedral is more than just a beautiful architectural element in the city. To learn more, check out this podcast about its history! So glad we visited!
