This Wednesday, the team took our visit to La Sagrada Familia! We’d had the visit scheduled for a couple weeks now, and the suspense had been building ever since. It’s a very difficult building to explain, and because of that, I think it’s a necessity to see for anyone visiting the region! As part of a study abroad to Italy and Greece, I’ve been in some very old, impressive, and unique structures; however, La Sagrada Familia is by far the most unique building I’ve ever been in. Clay described it as “being in a forest and underwater.” As strange as that sounds, I completely agree with that. The amazing architecture mesmerized all of us more than we were expecting, and it was a nice treat to learn the history of the building and its architect in a museum under the building. 10/10 Would recommend.
